ASK!? Kalil Cohen

Kalil is the founding director of the TG Film Fest: The Los Angeles Transgender Film Festival. He is also an assistant programmer for Outfest: the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and teaches documentary filmmaking to youth.  His short films have screened in college classes, at academic conferences, and at over 50 LGBT film festivals worldwide.  Kalil is director of the Workmen’s Circle SoCal, bringing progressive Jewish art and cultural programming, community building, Yiddish language classes, and political organizing to southern California Jews, our friends and allies.

ANNOUNCING LIFEWORKS CHANGES

Beginning January 4th!

Drop-in hours are no more!  We will have StepUp from 3pm-4pm.  

S:  Social   T:  Time  & E: Empowering P: Programs to U: Uplift your P: Peers

StepUp  is an hour where LGBTQ youth will engage and interact with other LGBTQ youth, while participating in programs held/led by LifeWorks peer mentors and other LifeWorks youth.

***New Membership Policies*** 

There will be a required Intake with Youth Advocate and new picture IDs that have to be shown for entrance into Youth Space.
